What Changes the Timeline of a Custom Home at Deep Creek Lake
There is no single published duration
Cabine does not publish one timeline for every custom home at Deep Creek Lake. The same five stages run on every project. How long each stage takes depends on the land, the design path, and the approvals required before construction starts.
What moves the schedule
A wooded or sloped lot needs a different site review than a flatter existing lot. Access, utilities, septic, and well considerations are part of that first review. A Lindal plan, a Cabine model, and a fully custom plan also do not take the same design effort. Permits, engineering, selections, and construction-loan documentation sit in preconstruction, before the build begins.
What stays the same
Construction still runs from site preparation through foundation, framing, mechanical systems, finishes, and a final walkthrough, with one point of contact. After that comes move-in or rental readiness, then warranty communication.
